Petitions

  • Presented a petition that suspended the implementation of the 21 billion borrowed by the Federal Government for excluding the South East.
  • Presented a petition against the Nigerian Army for the killing of an MBAIKE son at Owerri on his way to Germany.
  • Presented a petition against the invasion of Obabo Nkwokwu, Eziama Obiato in Mbaitoli LGA as a result of Boundary dispute between the Community and Awomamma in Oru East LGA

Education

He successfully facilitated the construction, renovation and equipping of over 20 schools across Mbaitoli\Ikeduru Federal Constituency. Including:

  • Construction, furnishing and equipping of a block of classrooms at Comprehensive Secondary School, Ubomiri
  • Construction, furnishing and equipping of a block of Six Classrooms with Toilet and Principal’s Office at Secondary School, Owu Amakohia, Ikeduru
  • Construction and furnishing of eight classrooms at Community Secondary School, Odunmara Orodo, Mbaitoli

Construction of a block of Classrooms with Furniture, offices, a borehole, and Toilet at Comprehensive Sec School, Ubomiri, Mbaitoli

Scholarship Programs, Vocational TrainingS

Hon. Nwawuba’s educational initiatives also included scholarship programs, vocational training, and collaborations with industries to bridge the skills gap and empower youths with the tools needed to succeed in an ever-evolving world. Some beneficiaries include:

  • 10 MBAIKE Youths trained in Agro business at Nigeria Research Institute, Umudike, Abia State
  • 63 MBAIKE Youths trained as Community Environmental monitors;
  • 20 MBAIKE Youths trained in Agro business at Oyo State Polytechnic, Ibadan
  • 20 Ikeduru Youths trained on Agro business at Delta State Polytechnic, Asaba

Health

One of the most significant contributions of Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba has been his unwavering commitment to our health and well-being

Through his efforts, Ihitte Mbieri Health Center got a facelift, Health Centers were constructed and equipped in Ugirike, Ikeduru and Umuanu, Ogwa, Mbaitoli LGA.
